Picked up our marriage license and wedding bands today! PIP

Actually, FI's band came in a week early and he's been wearing it around the house off and on "to make sure it fits" (so he says). It looks like he's really enjoying it. I'm so excited and so ready to get married! We are getting so close to our dates ladies!

yeah i guess AZ gives you 1 year to get married from the date you apply for your license...so we wanted to get it out of the way before FI starts his last semester of school

Nebraska gives you a year to get married too, we plan to get ours in late August/early September.

That's funny that he wears it around. My FI wont let me take our rings out. He says that he wants to be surprised. Lol. I love that you got you license already. We are getting ours a day or two before the wedding.

A whole year ahead of time? Nice! In KY they only give you a month.

It's interesting how it's different it can be! We have to wait three days between turning in the application and getting our license so we have to go at least a week before (plus the church needs it the Wednesday before the wedding). We'lll probably go late August/early September.

In maryland you have to apply 2 days prior but its good for 6 months. We will probably apply in early october.

Yay! Checks! How exciting! 

In Illinois they make you wait 1 day between applying and getting it and it's only good for 60 days.  We'll probably be going in September.

There is no waiting period in Ohio and it's good for 60 days.

Woohoo for you though!  I think you're the first one here to get your license, that's pretty exciting stuff.

Ours is good for 30 days and you have to get it at least 3 days before the wedding.... So we'll probably get it the week before.
