We're having a rustic fall wedding- clambake dinner, girls (and bride) in cowboy boots, mason jar candles, baby's breath for flowers etc. I was planning on doing a smores bar towards the end of the evening on the stone patio of our venue. Would it be really odd to package up the smores parts with a note saying "Thanks for joining us! We'd love to see you s'more at the s'mores bar." or something cute like that as the favor? I'm a little worried people will think it's funny to use the favor at the reception.
My mom was suggesting individual sized pies as the favor and still using the smores as a late night snack, because favors are supposed to be taken home. Although I do love that idea, it could get very pricey with the size of our guest list.
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
