What's on DH's Christmas list?

So since yesterday was what's on you Christmas list, I figured today would be what's on DH's. 

My DH wants an Assassin's Creed Hoodie.  That's what he keeps asking for.  He also wants the bluray sets for Indiana Jones and Star Wars.  I think that I am going to get him ZombieU also for the Wii U.

He doesn't know what he wants...I always struggle to buy him things.  He is really into retro style t-shirts and belt buckles so I usually buy that.  There are also some whiskeys he likes.  Since he knows he is hard to shop for he is making me a list of what we would like or need.

H wants some Star Trek comic book series, a Star Wars illustrations coffee-table style book, a few video games and a subscription to Popular Science.

Gift giving...UGH.

Oct 27th is our anniversary (always has been...we got married on our anniversary)
Today, Nov. 14th is H's birthday
Christmas is Dec. 25th
My birthday is Jan 5th
Valentine's Day is Feb. 14

I call it the 5 months of doom. 

H is super hard to shop for.  We didn't do anniversary presents this year because of the wedding.  For his birthday today I'm just cooking him a nice dinner and I got him a cake and card.

We are really strapped for money right now with the wedding and my student loans.  We haven't really decided but we are thinking we might not do gifts for each other.  Right before the wedding we (finally!) got smart phones, so that was kind of our gift to ourselves.  If we do decide to do gifts, it will be something small like a cd or or something.

I am really lucky, DH is VERY easy to shop for. He loves any board game or bar game and last year I got him a regulation dart board for our loft. He also likes cigars (but buys too many for himself!) and whiskey so I'm going to get him a set of crystal whiskey decanters to have on display. We had a "no gifts" wedding and didn't do any china, crystal, home things etc so these will be like our "wedding china." :-) 

I have a few stocking stuffer ideas too, including some camping and fishing things.

Everything snowboarding- DH needs (or so he says, i tell him he needs oxygen, not a new snowboard)
1-a new snowboard
2- new snowboarding jacket & pants
3- new boots
4- new bindings...

luckily my brother in law is buying him the snowboard he wants as a belated graduation gift and for helping him re-do his basement for free
everything else DH will pick out himself so it makes it easy to shop for especially bc it has to be the right brand, fit, etc...

H really, really wants a mandolin this year. I keep telling him that it's not in the budget, but I'm hoping that I can swing it. I'm also going to get him a hat or 2 and maybe some hoodies. He always has those on his wishlist.

Believe it or not, after hours of research, I got it at Wal Mart! I wanted one in a cabinet and with built-in chalk boards for keeping score. My H is so hard to buy for, I ask him what he wants or needs and he just says nothing....so I plan to find things he might like for his 'mancave'.....maybe some sports-related stuff or video games, even though he rarely plays them anymore I might find something he would be into.   Just gonna try to wing it!
