Guestbook ideas

what is everyone doing for a guestbook? I'm really not a fan of traditional guestbooks, but I'm not creative enough to DIY something. I'm going to create a 12 month calendar on Shutterfly and put an engagement picture on every month. At the bottom will be a caption that says "Please find your birthday and print your name." I think it's a neat way to have guests sign it and have everyone's birthday.

I think that's a great idea! i'm sure your guests will feel very appreciated! I'm doing a DIY and have been thinking about it since the day after I was engaged. :P

I'm doing a canvas painting of a tree with our initials and date "carved" on the trunk. Then I was going to have each guest sign a paper leaf. Our wedding is outdoors under a grove. I haven't decided if I want the guests to pin the leaves or if I should have blank ones up already. I needed more artwork in my house :P

Our photographer is making us a guestbook with pictures from our engagement session on each left hand page.  I'm pretty excited about it and we haven't even done the engagement session yet haha.  Plus we're having a photobooth and they include the scrapbook option.

Same as pp. I'm also doing a guestbook with out engagement pics. My photographer is supposed to help me do it.

I saw something on pinterest where people sign small river rocks and then you put them in a glass bowl. I think we are going to do that.

We're having a photobooth with a scrap book, I'm still trying to decide if I want to do something else. It will probably depend on if I get through my current DIY list first or not.

We are having a photobooth that also has a guest book. I don't think I'm going to do anything else.

I've changed my mind three times so far on guest book, ha! I think right now the idea is they'll fill out custom postcards that I'm going to make up, and then I'll assemble them in to a book.

I found a neat idea on pinterest, the guests all sign a piece of a puzzle and then you put it together and frame it.

We're using our engagement photos and making a coffee table style book. Guests will leave their messages on the different pages. I like this option so much better then a traditional guest book since we'll be more likely to pull it out and actually look at it in the future.

What a cute idea BrittneyRN!! I am unsure about what im doing yet. Most likely a traditional guest book or maybe soemthing with my E-pics.

I am going to make an 8x8 scrapbook. Each guest will get a 2 page spread. On one side it will have their name and a space for a picture and the other will have a spot to write us a message. After the wedding I will fill it in with pictures.

I like the puzzle idea. I am thinking of getting a poster of our venue and have everyone sign it and then we and frame it and put it up in our home. I like the idea of it being art, one way or another, I don't want it to just go in a box or on a self.

We're doing an envelope guest book. I bought the envelopes already and got the paper that I'm going to cut out for the guests to sign & write messages on, but I just need to find a scrapbook that doesn't have the paper in plastic liners in it.

I ordered a 12x12 scrapbook from Shutterfly and customized it with our e-pics. I am going to use my sister's cricut and make a sign that says "sign next to your fav pic" or something like that.
Each page has about 2 pics on it, there was a promo at the time so it was 50% off. I think I paid around $12 for it. My photographer could have done it for me, but I wanted to save $ esp since people would be writing all over it.

I love all these ideas. We are going to get one of those engraveable picture frames, and put one of our E-pics in it.

I have a smaller book that is made from part of a tree and has one tree carved on the front of the book. Our wedding will be at Niagara Falls State Park and thought it would be a great way to bring nature inside after the ceremony.
