Newspaper Announcements...

Just checked out the website to my hometown newspaper and our Wedding announcement and picture is in there!  Hopefully it will remind a few people to get their rsvps in.  Did anyone else have an announcement in the paper or doing one?

Mom my put one in the paper when we got engaged.  They had this questionnaire I had to fill out, for some reason they didn't print half of FIs info, but all of mine.  My mom had me filled it out so I know it was there, kinda odd.

YES! our parents surprised us with one in 2 papers (his town adn my town).  I don't know if it's motivated anyone to send their RSVP but alot of other people (neighbors, friend's parents, etc) have said they saw it.

Our engagement annoucement was printed last winter...like a PP, it was full of mistakes!  I didn't even fill out the questionnaire because this newspaper is nororious for messing things up, so I actually wrote out the annoucement in paragraph form all set for them to publish...they still messed it up!  Oh well, at least they printed one of our engagement pics really large and in full color : )

Our wedding announcement will be submitted when we get our professional wedding pictures back.  Here they print wedding announcements after the wedding.

We had ours in the paper last weekend.  We went to the bank later and were recognized by the teller. it was funny.

A few people have saw it and have congratulated us!
