Frustrated with RSVP's

Our invites have been out for 3 weeks....only have responses from 33 people.  That's only 20% of our guest list....At this rate I'm going to be reaching out to 100+ people after the RSVP deadline!  WTF are people doing holding onto these for so long?!  Holy hell...I've done all the hard work for you, pre-addressed and stamped that shiet.  Send the effing card back!  And a lot of people I know are coming but they're just not sending it.  Seriously...what is so hard about RSVPing if you know your response already?  I understand if they are still unsure but come on...if you know your answer - send it back!    

I want to reach out to people that I know are coming (or at least that's what they have told me before and what I am expecting) and ask them why they haven't sent it back yet, but our RSVP deadline is still 2 weeks away so I don't want to bug.  It's just annoying me.  And I'm pissed because it's mostly my side of the guest list that isn't sending in their cards.  People are so rude. 

Ok, I'm done ranting.  Haha.  I know others have had these issues too but it's really starting to bug me seeing how slow my RSVP response rates are.  These better pick up in the next 2 weeks or I'm gonna turn into the Incredible Hulk.  Lol.

Our return by date was today. We're still waiting on 22 of 100 people. It doesn't get any better.

Well you're ALL doing better than me..I've heard from about 20 people out of my almost 300 guest list. That includes both sets of our parents. Our deadline is Oct 1st but I just know I will be trying to contact everyone to find out. I guess this is MY fault for thinking it'd be easier for people to pick up the phone and let us know..I really didn't have the budget for RSVP's but I need to know who's coming to know how much food is needed.

I'm having a similar issue, but my dad has offered to get in touch with our family after the rsvp date I told my FI that some combination of him, his father and his sister will be responsible for his side of the family. So it sounds like I personally will not have to make a ton of calls.

Some people may have forgotten.  I just got back from a baby shower with 3 sets of my guests who haven't RSVP'd.  I politely mentioned that they haven't sent in responses and they all said, "Oh my goodness!  It slipped my mind!"  Don't panic, they'll come and hopefully you won't have to make too many calls.

Im still waiting on 20 RSVP's and their due next Saturday..I got one back today with no name on it but their coming.. I love the system too! lol

I wouldn't stress when your deadline is stisll 2 weeks away. A lot of people wait until the very end, and even the last day to send them. Right now, I don't even have my work schedule out for October, so maybe some people are waiting for that.

It's definitely frustrating. Like FFIL was like "you know we're coming." Yes, but I need to know what you want to eat and it's just common courtesy to send it back!

Our RSVP date is September 22 so people have 3 weeks left before I start harrassing them.

I posted a funny ecard on Fb like 2 weeks ago got 20 rsvps that next week hahah !

Our RSVP date is Wed and we are waiting on 23 still

My pet peeve- the people who call or text and say, "We're coming to the wedding, should I send this back still?"

Um, YES, because 1) I love getting mail and 2) it keeps me organized!!!  There's no meal option, but every RSVP I get back goes into my guest list on here so I can keep track of yes's!

</div><div>That's exactly how I feel!  I use it to keep organized.  Every one I get back, I log into my guest list tracker in excel.  Plus, it would be nice to have these RSVP's more staggered so I can spread them out rather than have to log 80 all at once.  </div><div>

I had 3 more today, but they were from people we already knew were coming... and one was FI's cousin in belgium who we knew wouldn't be coming.
