Whats the plans for today for everyone? It's still so hot here in Michigan, but the 100 degree weather should be moving out today so that makes me happy! Plus, I get to go home and see the FI tomorrow which I am totally excited about.

What are you doing? Getting anything checked off today? I'm working, so keep me entertained with this thread!

I'm at work, FI's at work we're super boring like that. Tonight the plan is to clean the apartment. Plus our fur baby is having seizures so now we have to decide what to do about that.

Awe poor little guy/girl!  Our family dog had her first seizure when I was home alone and I was 10! I totally freaked out!  The vet my prescribe a barbituate for the little one.  After we gave that to our dog she was fine and lived a happy healthy 17 years.

Back to OP.  I'm bored. FI is at work and I finished up the house.  Tonight we have to move his huge grandfather clock from his house (really parents and they're selling) to my small condo.  That should be interesting!  Thank god my dad is helping because there is no way I could lug that thing up about 20 steps.  Then we have to move his 50" tv into my condo.  While I love the tv at his house its going to be HUGE in mine.  Ugh, can't wait to sell this condo and get a house.  But unfortunately that doesn't look like it'll be happening anytime soon.

I went to the post office to buy stamps for our invites, but they were out of 65 cent wedding stamps : (. I was able to be stamps for our RSVPs though. I'll have to try another post office for the 65 cent stamps : /

We are headed to Cedar Point's water park (Soak City), to celebrate my birthday (25 years old!) which is tomorrow!

Happy birthday Brim! I may finish working on my card box today since it's ridiculously hot and humid here. Otherwise, not a whole lot going on today. I have to go pick up a prescription so while I'm out I may see about buying stamps for my invites and rsvps.

I'm visiting with my parents in Nashville and working on wedding stuff! I'm going through all of my old pictures for my mom to scan in because my FMIL has requested pictures for a slideshow for the RD. So we are working on that and then we are going through to find music to play before the ceremony, during dinner, and for dancing since we aren't paying a DJ (my brother has all of the appropriate equipment and is doing it and one of the GM is announcing). We are also making a "Here comes the bride" sign and a "Last chance to run!" sign for the FG's. We plan to finish up the wording for the guest information inserts for the invitations and get them printed and cut! Whew...sounds like a lot when I type it out!!

Nic - they were seriously out of 65 cent stamps?! That seems crazy. Its definitely wedding season I guess!

Nic - don't forget you can order stamps online, might be a decent option so you don't have to run around all over town to different post offices, although they do charge like $1 handling fee which makes no sense since they're the one's delivering but might be something to consider.

We have our meeting with our wedding coordinator at our venue today, I kept forgetting to write down questions as they came and now can't remember a thing I wanted to ask her!!  Thankfully she's quite responsive by email.  Will try and work on my sewing project later of a tote bag, possibly a bridesmaid gift but I'm already sick of it so probably not. got more patterns last night since Joann's is having a sale and considering trying to make a small makeup case instead but haven't figure out if I understand the pattern first! I really need to take some sewing classes. Otherwise will try and work on other DIY projects as well tonight.

The post office told me that they don't sell very many wedding stamps?!?! I find that hard to believe given the suburb of Rochester where we live lol! Plus, I feel like weddings keep the USPS in business! I'm having my mom check back in my hometown. I know the post office will order stamps for you there. Happy birthday BM!

I am currently sitting in my den stuffing my wedding invites=)
My stamps are due to arrive 7/12 from zazzle so they will be finally done and ready to send out.
I also booked and paid the deposit on my Rehearsal dinner location.
Set up appts for my sister and I to get manicures and pedicures the day before the wedding=)
And i booked our menu meeting with the venue where we also get to pick our cake and pick up seating cards/chart!
I've been busy, but since FI is at work I have alot of time on my hands.

Later i may go to my sister's for dinner since FI is heading that way to help my brother in law knock down a wall and put in a door. And tomorrow is my BRIDAL SHOWER!!! ahh i cant wait, my sister told me if i go to her house and get there before her not to go in her bedroom...hmm i wonder why?!?!

After spending all night Thursday night into Friday morning at around 7am at the ER I'm spending the weekend taking it easy.

Hooray finding out I have either a kidney stone or a calcified lymph node in my kidney.  The radiologist wasn't in yet so they'll send the exact info over to my family doc.  Which sucks because I hate her and think she's useless and was planning on never going back but I haven't found a new one yet.

Lulu: Thanks! He's not little by any means. It's a scary thing to see a 140 lb St Bernard thrashing around on the floor. I'll talk to the vet about a barbituate. My vet tends to be of the opinion to test everything which usually equals expensive. Le sigh.

Udream: It's going to be up to FI what he wants to do. The dog is his baby and he won't like anything I have to say on the matter unfortunately. This poor dog has had a rough life. Wish he (and we) could catch a break.

snuff: I understand crazy vet bills. Mine has never had seizures (I hope your big guy is okay!!), but he spend a good 12 hours one time with it coming out of both ends. I'm actually having to take him to the vet again today because he started throwing up everywhere last night and today he's just listless and laying around, not acting like himself and it has me worried. So I'm right there with you!

Today is stay at home in the A/C kind of day for us.  The heat has been pretty intense the last couple weeks around here.  Working on my DIY Wedding sign, a menu project, and start taking little price tags and stickers off all of the mini gift bags I purchased for the Candy Buffet.  Otherwise its a lazy weekend for me!
