I feel like I'm so far behind anyone else, because I only just had my first dress fitting today! It all went well, though, and I couldn't resist sharing some pics.
Here's how my bustle is going to be...she assures me that it'll be more user-friendly than some of the ones we've had to fight with at weddings we've been to in the past.
You can also see how much it has to be taken in...almost three inches!!

Then I put my veil and accessories on...it was the first time I've worn my whole wedding day outfit together with shoes, undergarments, the whole nine!
Ta-dah!
My mom got her dress fitted as well. She looks fantastic in it!
So now my dress, veil, and crinoline are living at the seamstress's place so that everything can be steamed out once the alterations are done. It should be ready in about two weeks, and I can't wait!
