Long time lurker, first time poster...but here are my checks!

Hi ladies! Let me start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE how friendly and wonderful you are to each other. I makes planning a wedding all the more enjoyable when you can connect with people who are expericing it as well

Second, I am getting married October 6th and I am SOOOOO excited! My fiance and I will be together 4 years as of July 6th. I can't imagine myself with anyone else!

Anyway, here are my checks!

I still have little things here and there (like a cake topper) and the fiance finally decided on a suit he likes, so that will be taken care of soon.

I'm seriously worried about the day getting here, then realizing I forgot something!

Welcome to the board!  I always tell new October brides that this is the best board on theknot!  I hardly post anywhere else.

Your checks look good to me and it doesn't look like you are missing anything major.  If you are having a videographer, that might be something to get booked soon.  Also, are you going to hire a day of coordinator?  They will be able to help you with not worrying so much about forgetting stuff, especially close to the wedding date.  You still have 7 months to figure out all the little things, so don't worry about that too much.

Totally agree with above post! You sound like you've got it all under control. We all worry about the day of even if we have a DOC (which I do have but still worry). :) Welcome... we love new knotties!

Welcome! I completely agree, I think the ladies here are the best! Your checks look pretty good! The only other thing I could really think of besides the videographer that was already mentioned was transportation.

Transportation isn't a big issue as our church is 3 block from our reception space. Our reception space also provides us with a "day of" person to make sure things flow smoothly there. I'm a pretty laid back person, so I don't expect the day to be "perfect". I just know that as long as the day ends with us being married, I will be thrilled

I actually also called yesterday to book a potential rehersal dinner site. I'm kind of an over achiever and just want to spend the last few months leading up to the wedding relaxing!

Great Job with all that you have accomplished, I have been engaged well over a year now, and I have started participating in these boards, WISH I  would have done it long ago.

Yes...I LOVE the October Ladies!!  You are right on track!! 

I have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, so all the little things make me feel, AHHHHH!! so when i get just a few things done,i feel a TON...and the ladies here make me feel much more relaxed about all of that too
