Today, my mom and I went to the bridal boutique where I purchased my dress and we found her dress. She ended up getting a gorgeous tafetta dress by Jasmine Couture in a teal color. Pic's below.
While we were out, she told me she is going to be hosting a bridal shower for me along with my maid and matron of honors and we set a date of August 25th. I'm so excited!! I really thought no one was going to offer to host one so this was a pleasant surprise!!
I also booked my first fitting for September 1. I've got 2 months to get these last 10lbs off so definitely need to start hitting the gym again.
Other checks - ordered the flowergirl dresses, scheduled final appointments with the venue, day of coordinator, lighting company, and DJ. My mom also finished the hair flowers for the bridesmaids and has started on their jewelry boxes that are part of their bridesmaids gifts.
