So FI and I have been planning to pay for everything on our own and FI's parents have said they're willing to help with the catering for the reception and stuff which as we all know is HUGE! Yesterday my mom and stepdad offered to finish paying for my dress and any alterations plus pay for my flowers. So when we've been stressing out now our families have decided to help and I honestly am so thankful.

That is awesome, congrats!  My FI and I are paying for everything as well, except my mom has decided to pay for the alcohol.  We both work for the same company, just different locations and have a lot of coworkers coming that like to drink, so she wants to accomodate them as well as the other guests.

I think that is amazing that you are getting help with that. I am a stay at home mom and so this wedding is all on my fiance's shoulders which I am starting to feel bad about because it is stressing him out but we are managing well. His mom is helping with the favors and small things like that so we count them as blessings and really appreicate them.
