STOP calling/texing/telling me!!!

I swear if one more person calls/verbally tells/ texts me with their RSVP response I am going to loose it! I have had so many people just call or when I see them say 'consider this my RSVP to your wedding *giggles* I keep forgetting to send the card!". Is it REALLY that hard to make a check on a piece of paper and then put it in it's self addressed stamped enveloppe and put it in the damn post box. There is a good reason I spent a crap load of time and money on making them!

Anyone else getting annoyed with this?

my aunt handed me her's the other day!!! REALLY!!!! i didn't put a stamp on it for nothing! my dad says " you know i'll be there you were with me when i got my tux!.... besides when is the date you need them back.... oh i have plenty of time"  he has a bad memory i guarantee he will never mail it back in!

I got a couple of 'do you really want me to send you back the card?" questions when I saw OOT family this weekend.  I feel the same way about having spent all the time/money on the invitations, response card, and return envelope stamp.  Just put it in the stinking mail! 

It helped that the one cousin who sent hers in really early was standing there and I thanked her for being one of the first ones in front of everyone else and that guilted some people.  I think I'll be getting more in the mail this week.

hence the reason we gave an email or phone number, and no self addressed RSVP responses lmao....

I didn't want to deal with the frustration, plus our families are more phone/email on type of people rather than SNAIL MAIL

I had same. I just said "please send in the card so I can keep my numbers straight"

I've had the same thing.  Several people in my family asked if they need to send them to me and I said YES!  I need to know what you are eating!  I wouldn't have minded if people had them to me though.

I've had a couple of emails/phone calls. My parents and sister wanted to hold on to theirs for some reason, and two people had moved since receiving theirs, and had lost them. Honestly, I just want some kind of response. I'm still missing 40!

That's so annoying/rude.  Almost as rude as my friend who asked if she could bring her sister (who I have never met, ever, and we cannot afford to give non-couples +1's) or the friends from law school who wanted to bring someone we didn't invite so it could be a "reunion." It's my wedding, a sacred event with our most cherished friends and family, not a kegger at a damn frat party.

Ha, my dad also said he isn't sending his in because "you know I'll be there!"  To others who have asked, I told them to please send it in so I make sure I don't miss anyone.  Plus, it is nice to have the actual card in hand.

I have been telling my family, friends and coworkers that asked the question, "Yes, the stamo is already paid for!"  FI took a word of mouth one and I wanted to strangle him.  I told him that it would be preferable if they sent it in, but we cannot do that for everyone.  I need the paper.....and I paid for it.

I have gotten lucky twice for people who have decided to add a guest.  I told them we absolutely did not have the room and they were so cool with it!  I know I won't get so lucky soon!

I can totally relate! Many haven't sent in their cards and told us via e-mail or phone. It's crazy.... why did I go through the effort of making my invites perfect and giving them stamps if you didn't send them back.

SO ANNOYING!! We just mailed our today (Yay!) but I'm already dreading this! =-/
