RSVP's online?

Anyone going to try RSVP's online? If so what website do you plan on using? I only found ewedding.com and they charge $10 a month..which we would only need it for 2 months at the most..Just wondering if there is  any other websites to use? Maybe less then $10 or free?

Re: RSVP's online?

  • Well there's the website that you can use from Theknot that's FREE....just saying haha. I think I'm definitely going to be having our guests RSVP online. My cousin did it and I thought it was very simple and quick, and if anyone has a hard time with it they'll just call or email us anyway. No biggee
  • While I'm not the biggest fan of online RSVPs, I don't see a problem with it. Just make sure to include a phone number also for the people who aren't tech savvy/don't have a computer. Also, I wouldn't use the Knots website. It has way too many glitches and goes down way too often.

  • My XH and I used email RSVPs but also included a phone number. We got a response from everyone - of course, it was also a DW so we only invited I think 25 people.

I know personally for me it's easier to remember to send an email (since I'd do it from my phone) than to mail a postcard or letter or to remember to go to a certain website. I was a BM in a wedding four years ago and the bride thought it was hilarious that I never RSVPd. I finally handed her the postcard at the rehearsal. Embarassed

The site I used for my wedding website (weddingwire.com) offers a free online RSVP for guests to use through your personal wedding website. I don't plan on using it, so I'm not quite sure how well it works, but it might be worth looking into :)

my friend used rsvpit.com we decided to do response cards
  • I'm not doing online RSVPs either.  I've never gotten a wedding invite with an online RSVP and they are not common in my area.  Also, there are a lot of guests that aren't tech savvy, so I know it would cause a bigger headache!

I've found Wedding Wire's wedding websites to be great (I made ours through them).  I'd look into their RSVP tool if you are planning on going with online RSVPs.

  • We made our wedding website on Weebly, it's free and has a rsvp feature that so far has worked great.  We put our website on our STDs and we've had a few couples rsvp yes already :)  (plus the site is very easy to personalize and edit)
