I got my contract out, come to find out I am suppose to get the venue first. WHY? Because I was there first and if in the event of a double booking first book gets it.
Well, I called the man at the place and he said he is looking at the contract and no where in his contract does he see that. At this point my blood is already boiling from the dern idiot. Iasked him how the heck does he not see something, in a contract that HE himself had made up?! So I asked if he would liked my lawyer to help guide him then, maybe you then will perhaps find it? His story change really quick! I was instanly back on the list for the venue.
Unfortunatley, I told him I didn't want the place anymore bc of his lack of service, his lying scheming ways and I wanted my money back. Believe it or not he gave it back to me, and in the same day I received a call from the place we were first going to get married. It is the most unbelievably beautful place I could imagine getting married at..
So not all is lost and I am satisfied with my outcome. PLUS I SAVE A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY!
