Hi guys,

Thanks so much for the warm welcomes on my last post!

It is nice to see how friendly the OCtober board is! 

My fiance and I are looking for our wedding photographer and came across Elle and R photography. At first glance I find their photos aethetically pleasing, however, as I truly do not know much about photography...I would love some opinions on their work!

YAY a fellow Canuck getting married on Thanksgiving weekend! Couldn't tell you much about photography either but I think their photos are nice to look at. At the end of the day, isn't that the point?

i only fliped through about 30 or so of there pics of the album that was posted on their wall... i notice alot of ceilings in their pics (top 1/2 of bodies with alot of ceiling) and alot of the times the top of the guys head is cut off. i am not a pro with judging photography that was just what i noticed in the pics i looked at! my fi is  about 1ft taller than me i wouldnt want his head cut off or the amount of ceiling i saw in some of there pics but thats just my opinion. they seem to have a pretty large amount of albums though so i would look through the rest to make my decison! there are alot of their samples of work

They look good to me, but I noticed the "cut of head" thing that Patty mentioned.  I'm not sure if I like that either.  If you like them, I would just mention it and I am sure they can just not do that.

I took a look at their work and wasn't overly impressed. I think they lucked out and got a few good shots, but for the most part they need some work. Seems expensive for what you're getting.

I think they looked good for the most part , but there was something kinda off about some of  them to me. Maybe it was other people said about them cutting people's heads and bodies off?

Hmmm...some shots were well done. However,  I'm not a big fan of over exposure, they are way too bright for my taste.  Also, it seemed like the photographer didn't pay attention to the background. There are a lot of photos with trees sticking out of heads and too much extra space.
