I bought my FI a "groom's cake"-- a dozen cookies for he and his groomsmen to munch on and enjoy while they're getting ready. I got him a half-dozen of these beer can cookies,

So, a bit of a story. When I mentioned a groom's cake option to FI, he immediately mentioned, "PBR cookie cake?" See, we went to a wedding about a year ago and our friend the bride got the groom one of those big Mrs. Field's cookie cakes with an edible Genny beer logo on it (he's from Rochester, and loves it). And I guess FI had it in his head (or heart... or stomach, ha) that that's what I'd do for him with his "favorite" beer, Pabst Blue Ribbon (I guess guilty pleasure beer is more accurate). So I was like, "Hrm, I guess I'm getting him a PBR cake of some sorts", ha. But I can't bake (and didn't want to try stressing myself out to do it right before the wedding), and so while I was trying to figure out a way to do this (

I can't believe I rambled that long about cookies, ha, but anyway, purchased. Super excited, FI and his friends will love them! Plus I feel a lot better about leaving them to eat cookies all morning instead of drink a ton of beer (although he may very well still have some real beers too, ha).
