Have You Registered Already?

Hey October ladies! Just wondering if you and your FI have registered? I know on TheKnot's checklist it says to register now. I kind of feel like it's a bit early for that? But then again, I would like to have it done or atleast started. For those that haven't registered, when will you?

We registered a while ago. I keep an eye on it to catch anything discontinued.

We finished registering in January. I periodically check in and make sure nothing is discontinued. It was easier to get out of the way ahead of time.

So funny, I'm editing our registry as we speak.  We started it in February or so and I am hoping to finish it online today.  It's just something that's nice to get out of the way, but as long as you do it before any shower invites go out, you'll be fine.

Yes we registered a few months ago because fiance's family wanted to send us engagement gifts.  Registering is super fun!  It's one decision that's stress free, at least in my experience!

We have already started our registery.  I had my mom look at it to see if there was a good variety of prices and what not.  She told me that we did not have enough stuff!  So ours is a work in progress and as I think of things we add them.  We have not yet registered for dishes or luggage which are the things we have not really fell in love with. 

For what its worth we registerd at BBB and Wal-mart.

We haven't registered yet, it's on the to do list for the summer. I'd rather do it closer to the shower rather than have to stalk the list for items that are being discontinued.

We havent registered yet either. FI and I can't decide where to register. Canada has very limited cross-country options. He wants to register for sporting goods (which I am down for, I want a new tent) but we havent found anywhere to register for it. We dont really need any household goods, we've been living together for 5 years. My mom has already bought my big wants, so there's really nothing we need.

Yes, we registered in November so that our families could use the registries for Engagement and Christmas gifts. We registered at Macy's and Williams-Sonoma. I just check the registries periodically to make sure things aren't discontinued.

We registered in February, a lot of ppl kept asking us so we started one.  It was only Macys at first just to give ppl a place to go.  Then we added Target but after I heard so many horror stories on them I closed it and we opened an Amazon one, which so far I really like.


Edit:  After we sent our STDs out ppl started buying off of them so I'm glad I had them set up before I sent them out.

We finished registering a few weeks ago.. the only problem I had doing it a little bit early is a lot of things got discontinued so we had to find new things like plates, bedding, and kitchen stuff. 

People have already started buying things off of it with out even having registry cards!

We registered back in February, mainly because we went to the registry party that Crate & Barrel had.  We'd still like to register at Target, but we know it's going to be a long day and we're just trying to fit it in between work schedules.

I"m in the process of finessing the two registries we currently have since I think we got a little scanner happy in one store.  

I didn't even think of checking the things that get discontinued, argh!

I don't think we would have registered that early if it wasn't for the registry party and also our families and friends asking us if/where we were registered.

We registered last month.   There have been a few items discontinued, but I just edit my list and will probably check it again closer to the shower.   It's nice to be done so that  if someone happens to want to purchase something early, they have that option.

We have not. I have been wanting to do it, but everytime I make plans for it something else comes up and we can't get it done. I'm going to NY on Thursday and will be back on Sunday so, hopefully once this trip is over I can get back on focusing on the wedding and getting some of the checks done for the wedding. I still haven't ordered our cake either. That's one of the last big checks for me as well as the BM dresses. Although we have an appt on May 12th for the girls to try on the "dress".

Yes! We registered in early February because our friends hosted an engagement party for us a few weeks later. Went to the registry event at Crate & Barrel, which was super fun, and registered at Macy's becuase it's national and easy for all of our guests to access (in person - Grandma's not interested in going online!) Going to check it periodically to make sure we update anything that gets discontinued.

We registered in January.  I have already gotten some gifts.  Now I am just maintaining the registries.

we registered this month at Sears... it seems a bit early but 5 months goes by FAST! very FAST!
