My wedding ring is here! PIP

My Art Nouveau pre-1920's antique ring, alternating white & brown diamonds.  It's not a typical simple wedding band, but then again no one would ever describe me as typical or simple.  Such a dream!  Anyone else having trouble waiting til October to wear their wedding ring??!!

Nice rings. FI told me I am not allowed to wear my ring until he puts it on during the ceremony. It makes me happy and sad all at the same time.

Your ring is so cool looking! I can't help but try my on sometimes. I also like to try on FI's ring haha, which is weird buuut I can't help it. It's so wide and big, I like to put it on because it looks so funny on me hahaha.

Lovely! I had my wedding band custom made as well since my E-ring is from the 1960s. It's definitely hard not to wear it around the house.

Stunning!  I just love when girls go with their own style/idea and are not ''typical''.  Not just with the rings, but in every aspect of their lives.  That ring says alot about you!!  Its absolutley beautiful!  Congrats!!

thank you ladies!! i've decided that i'm gonna wear it for 10 mins every night.  and when his comes in we can wear it in unison for 10 mins each night.

by the way, i love this board.  if i posted this pic in another board, i would get a lot of negativity.  it seems that this board is filled with sweet positive ladies unlike some of the other boards, i.e. the etiquette board and even the budget board where i've gotten ripped apart for being different.

It's beautiful! So different that what you typically see. I am also pretty unique with my plans, and the last thing I need is someone putting me down for it. I also love this board.

That etiquette board will tear you to shreds over something they feel is not "proper".  I have lurked on that board before just to get some laughs.  As if the world is going to end simply because one has used the wrong punctuation on an invitation or something!  lol.  It cracks me up because I'm old enough to be some of those girls' mother and they act as if they are sooooo worldy and sophisticated...

Oh well, off of my rant now and I'm glad you like it over here, I like this board as well as the DIY board (which most of my wedding is). I agree, its a nice bunch of girls...and yes I say girls...anyone under 35 seems like a youngster to me anymore. Boy, am I getting old!!

I happen to think that ring is AWESOME. It's so unique, and I love that. 

I also wear my ring at night when no one is watching. FI has caught me a few times, it makes him laugh. W/e his fault for buying a set and giving both to me.
