Gobo Design

We decided to do a gobo at our venue.  Turns out all they need is a PDF or JPEG of what I want and they'd make it for me so I figured I'd give a crack at trying to make something myself rather than paying a designer to do something.  It's pretty simple but I guess I don't really need much.  Let me know what you think.  Should I change anything?

I like it! After 3 months of trying, we FINALLY got our gobo ordered the other day. I really never thought it'd be this much if a pain, but most websites are really confusing, and my venue kept sending us sites with broken links.

My DJ provides a gobo free of charge! I'm glad I don't have to design it. Sounds confusing.

A gobo is a lighting term. It basically means that a gel or decal is applied over a light to make a pattern wherever the light is cast. Some people have them sweep over the dance floor, others opt for walls or ceilings. (Whooo!  Theatre nerd!)

Ours is lovely (branches and leaves) and provided for free by our lighting designer. It will look a lot like this (Bonus, the photo was taken at our venue!). Click me to see the lighting design!

Aww, thanks!  We think it is gorgeous.  I love the giving tree theme.  Though, I have to admit, the book makes me cry every time! [/end thread stealing]
