Garter question

I have 2 garters.... one for my soon to be hubby that he will keep, and one to give away at the reception. This might sound dumb, but do I need to wear both the night of? Can I just give the one for my hubby to be to him earlier in the day or the day before? LOL Not sure how that works....

I'm not sure, but I always thought the garter for him was so you had something sexy on when he takes your dress off that night..

I think you're supposed to wear both.  It would be weird for you to give it to your FI the day before, because I think the point of it was that you were wearing it and he takes it off of you (even for the keepsake).

Personally, I'm planning on slipping my garters on while my dress is being bustled.  FI will take off the toss garter and I'll keep the keepsake garter on.  Who knows, I might get sick of it halfway through the reception, take it off, and then (maybe) put it back on.
