So, I have been scouring the internet this evening for wedding ideas, as I still have a few thing to get figured out... And I found these shoes which I think are gorgeous. Going to try to find a coupon code and I am pretty sure I am going to buy them. FI will be happy they are heels : ) I will probably still try to find converse for the reception. I plan on changing into a short dress (if I can find one cheap that I am happy with) and square dancing, yay : )


 beautiful? I think so. Does anyone know about zappos coupon codes? I tried to google them for other website but I didn't run across anything. They are called Promiscuous Kenley Lace Sandal.

And secondly, here is hair that I am very seriously considering. I know I wanted it down and long and curly. I have longgggg hair. That is quite nice, lol, at least that is what I have been told, haha. My mother thinks the bow is perfect for me, I tend to agree, I think it definitely looks like my kind of style. With a birdcage veil I am thinking... But I don't know about the bangs, could I poof it still? I don't think I want any hair in my face. I'm excited : D like figuring out these little details.
What would you think if you saw this hairstyle on a bride?

I feel bad saying so but I hate that hairstyle. I really and truly do. The first thoughts that popped into my head were a) Gone with the Wind theme wedding and b) Flower girl.

I think if its your style than go for it. If you think its suits  you and your personality I thinks its great. I think its different and personal touches even to your hair are what make it memorable.

No! You are fine, I want honest opinions, because while I love it I also cannot decide if maybe it is a bit ridiculous for a wedding.

ETA: Can you explain the Gone with the Wind part tho? I am trying to figure it out but I'm not sure, lol.

Although I think that hair style is unique and cute, I think it would be better on a flower girl than a bride.  But, at the same time, if this is a hairstyle that suits your style and personality, then go for it!  I do think this type of style would look great with a birdcage veil, with or without the bow.

The shoes are awesome!  I really do like those a lot.  I ordered my shoes from zappos but didn't have or find any coupon codes so I can't help you with that.  Good luck

LOVE the shoes...the hair made me think of Gaga and her hairbow era. I think its cute but I'd never do it.

I absolutely love bows, and I absolutely love the hairstyle. I did see a picture of that hairstyle and I showed my girlfriends. They said to me "it's a little young looking." What I decided to to was get a bow hair clip. Here's a picture of the one I got.

As for zappos coupon codes. Go to RetailMeNot.com type in Zappos and see if there are any good coupons on the site. I literally do not purchase anything online without first looking to see if there are any coupons on Retail Me Not first.

Love the shoes...I have been trying to decide on shoes as well and I am torn between a white shoe with a ruffle (very similar to yours!) or blue sparkly shoes! Ha. 

I kind of agree about the hair, I am not a huge fan, and tend to thing flower girl.  However Im sure no one would confuse you with the flower girl at your own wedding due to your hair style! I have a friend that always wears head bands with bows on them, and has one of those quirky "I like to stand out" personalities and I could totally see her rocking this style.  The fact that your mom also thinks it is very 'you' makes me thinks that people who know you may have a better reaction and appreciate it more than I did.

I love birdcage veils but I think they look funny if your hair is longer than the veil (which is why I decided not to wear one).  They look amazing with short hair or updos though.

Thank you ladies for your honest opinions, I appreciate them. I kind of am leaning towards the responses that say that if it is my sort of style and something that would be expected of me to go for it. I very much feel like that is the case. I think that I am going to show the picture to some of my friends in real life who really know my personality and see if they think it won't be appropriate. I am still on the fence about it, because it is still my wedding, lol. Argh. Complex. Still love my shoes tho : D

I second the Retail Me Not, if there is a coupon code for the shoes it will be on there..
I also agree that the bow is young looking.  But if it is your style go for it I think as long as it goes with your overall look.  Have you picked out your dress yet? have you shown it on here?

Thank you all for your honest responses, I appreciate them. I am kind of leaning towards the responses that stated that if it something that is my style and would be expected of me then go for it.... but, I am still kind of on the fence because it is for my wedding. I think I am going to show a few of my friends/family who know me and my personality and see what they think about it. I think that will be a little better pool of ideas to draw from. So I will get back to you on that.

And thanks Heath, I checked retailmenot when I first started looking, like you, I do not buy anything online til checking that site. It is a great resource. They had a few codes for free shipping, but I think that you get free shipping on orders over 50 anyways... and they are 69. Ahh, so expensive, lol. But I feel like considering how much I spent on my dress I can still afford it. I was way under budget.

Yea, I am planning on doing a trial run with the hairdresser sometime soon when school slows down, it obviously also matters if she is even able to do it.

ETA: I just realized... and this might make it worse rather than better, but the underneath of my hair is a dark purple, prim and proper is not exactly expected from me, lol.

I LOVE the heels. Super cute. Not sure if I can help with a coupon though, but I really like them!
As for the hair, I really dont care for it myself. With that said, it is your wedding and if you love it, then that is what you do.

If you dont have an ebates account, they were running a special for your first purchase of 25 or more you get a free gift card for a few places like target for i think 15, plus they will give you a percentage back on what you paid. They will mail you the check, or you can have it donated to charity. There is also UPromise that does the same thing, but if you have student loans with sallie mae, after 25 worth, they will send a payment to them, or you can have them send you the check as well.
I check all the coupon sites as well, but if nothing else at least you get a rebate from using either of those sites. They also list coupon codes if they know of any as well.
