I've been reading about so many of you getting your invites out. I hadn't planned on getting mine done and in the mail until September 1st for our October 20th date, but I couldn't wait anymore! I finished them last night and took them to the post office this morning
It feels soooo good to have such a major thing off the list!
Just a note for anyone using wax seals on their invites- it'll cost you an additional .20 per invitation because hand-canceling alone doesn't keep them out of the sorting machines. That was a surprise for me, because I thought hand-canceling kept them out of all the machines-- nope. Thankfully, since I only had 38 invitations it wasn't a big expense. But i could see it being pretty hefty for anyone with hundreds to mail.
