When to give DOC gift?

So we're giving our DOC a gift instead of a cash tip. She's a big wine fan and so are we so we've picked out 3 of our favourite (and not cheap) bottles. She is self employed, so while a gift/tip is not required we felt it was as she's been fabulous. 

If we were just giving her a cash tip I would give it to her at the end of the reception, but since it's a physical gift so I give it to her at the RD when we hand out the WP/parent gifts or should I give it to her at the end of the reception?

I would give it to her at the RD, since where would you put these bottles of wine day of?

I agree, RD. On your wedding day you'll be so caught up in everything you might not remember to give it to her then, on top of having to have a place to put it. I think RD is perfect.
