Hello ladies, hope your all having a wonderful weekend! I've been so busy, both wedding related and non-wedding stuff I haven't had much time on here but its been pretty stress-free for the most part. I have all the issues worked out with the photographer and everything is on track now so thats a huge relief. We have our 2nd photoshoot set up for Monday Sept 10th, and he will have the pics available within a couple weeks for us so if we want to use any of them for our Reception as well as our Photo guestbook. We also have an appt that same day with the Wedding Coordinator at our venue to do some finalizing on most of our stuff as well as a food tasting before we finalize our menu.
Working more hours (our busy season) at work, trying to get all the overtime I can, more money for the wedding!
I finally ordered my wedding shoes on Friday, should be here on Tuesday. Purchased my hair piece at the Bridal Store where I purchased my dress, its shiny and beautiful, I love it!
Yesterday, the company I worked for hosted a huge family picnic for all 800+ employees at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha inside the Sea Lion Pavilion, that was a lot of fun. My mom works for the same company, so she took my FMIL with her as a guest and I took my FI, walked around for a couple hours, surprisingly didn't talk much about the wedding. My favorite part of the zoo was the Penguins! Also part of the picnic was tickets to a baseball game and fireworks show afterwards, all in all, a great evening!
Don't know what we are doing today, probably a little grocery shopping and catching up on some household chores. Next weekend, I have my first hair trial, excited about that! Also meeting up with FI after to go wedding band shopping (yes we are very behind on this important thing) and find him some boots for the wedding day.
