What are your colors?

I was just wondering what everyone's colors were since we were all planning a fall wedding. I really want Blue and Yellow but do you think that's inappropriate for the fall? Or do you think that matters anymore these days?

Definitely go with whatever colors you want. It doesn't matter what season it is! Our colors are black and champagne.

I say go with whatever colors you want. I am definitely not traditional and didn't worry about seasons or anything else when planning. Blue and yellow are beautiful together. Our colors are red, black and white.

We are using plum & teal, possibly throwing in another accent color from the peacock feather.

Yep choose whatever makes you happy We're blue, pink, and pops of silver. We chose ours based on our ceremony site. My church has awful PINK carpet. So rather than clash, blue dresses will look fine and pink flowers to tie it all in and GO WITH rather than AGAIST it ...and the reception is elsewhere we'll do lots of blue and silver with only a tad of the pink carried over from the ceremony.

Ok thanks for reassuring me. I've been looking at pics of flowers and dresses from real weddings and it just looks so springy! I guess if I get dark blue bridesmaids dresses it will look better for the fall. Anyway, I was just curious. Thanks girls.

My colors are dark purple with mostly orange, green and a lighter purple accents.

My colors are burgundy and cream.  They are traditional fall colors but I'm also doing kind of a fall theme.

Don't let the season dictate what you do for your wedding (except for maybe considering the usual temp for your area when looking at BM dresses)

Ours are dark purple/plum and burnt orange with accents of gold, chocolate brown, dark reds & greens (pretty much the Fall colors). We're having a Fall theme, so the Fall colors worked for us, but you could choose whatever colors you want.

You don't have to use "fall colors" for a fall wedding. We wanted our wedding to look timeless and not be tied to a specific season. Our colors are black, ivory, and pops of Tiffany blue.

Ours are black and white with pops of red. Do what you like, you don't have to use the traditional fall colors.

Our colors are purple and orange with jewel tones here and there. Although my florist/decorator calls it aubergine/persimmion I guess that sounds prettier! Do what you want!

Yup, everything PP's said: you can choose whatever colors you want.  When I picked the colors (FI didn't care lol), I didn't even care to think about what the seasonal colors were or if it would fit with the venue.  I picked what meant something to us: purple and blue.  Those were the main colors of the schools we went to together while we were dating: purple for college and blue for high school.  More of the darker, royal purple/blues...not pastels.

Ours are dark red and gold and we are definitely NOT having a fall-themed wedding. I think red and gold look elegant and classic so that's what we went with.

 You choose whatever colors you want, don't worry about the season.. most dress designers have some version of every color of the rainbow for your BM dresses and such...

We are going with burnt orange and brown for the main colors but including all of the fun fall colors in our centerpieces. The season shouldn't have anything to do with your colors. Go with what makes you happy.
