I know we did a thread on this a while back but the search function here is CRAP.  The "Current Board" selection fails every time.

I need father-daughter dance suggestions (non-country)! What did you use for yours?

Sorry I'm not much help.  I love country so this was one time I could use it in our planning.  I just looked at the list our DJ gave us (which is like 90% country), but here are a few listed:

I am using Bruce Springsteen's When You Need Me.  I'll also use Simon and Garfunkle's Bride Over Troubled Water for my (shorter) dance with my step-dad.

My Dad and I are dancing to "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole and his daughter Natalie. Not country and a nice older classic sound

I used "In My Daughter's Eyes"...the original is by Martina McBride, but there is a noncountry version by Alfie Boe and that is the one we used.

We're going to dance to "You've Got a Friend" by James Taylor.

LOVE "When You Need Me" by Bruce Springsteen (it's perfect!). We're usnig one of his songs as our first dance, so this song wasn't an option.

Thanks for the advice ladies!!  I sent my dad a list and he picked Sweet Pea from the link that Jenna posted.  Decision made!
