escort cards

What's everyone doing for escort cards?  Where are you ordering them from?  Are you writing names/table numbers yourself or having them printed?

Re: escort cards

  • Bought them at Staples for super cheap. Just writing the names and table names on them... trying to make the best out of my so-so handwriting!
  • I got the cards at Michaels and will print them out on my printer with a free template from the escort cards

  • We are having sanddollars done by a calligrapher with guest names and our date then tying a card with the seat assignment through the holes with a ribbon. We have to have the names to the calligrapher by Sept. 3 for out Oct. 6 wedding.

  • My personal attendant (and the best man's wife) is crazy crafty and has a cricut cutter. We gave her fall colored cardstock and she's cutting out leaves. Then we'll write guest name and table number, punch a hole, and with ribbon tie it onto our carmel apple favors.

  • I just bought cardstock at the dollar store and a stamp set from michaels. Each time an RSVP comes back with yes I stamp the name on the cardstock. I also have a leaf paper punch. Once the seating chart is done I will stamp table numbers on the back of each card.

  • I bought wood pieces that are leaf-shaped. We are cutting holes in them. Then a family friend and I are painting them. I will write everyone's name and table numbers on them after the paint dries. They will hang from the couple of trees we bought :-)

  • Between DIYing my invites, programs, etc i am all DIY out so i am just using the escort cards our venue provides...idc they will end up in the garbage or left on the table!!
  • I bought business cards from VP last year.  They have a leaf design on them with a line for guest names and the word table and a line underneath.   I bought a big frame and my crafty aunt is  going to make a ribbon board to display them in since they are not tented.

  • I ordered business cards from VP in our invitation suite and will be handwriting names and table numbers on them. My grandpa made wine cork holders for them to stand up in, like this

  • I had extra cardstock from another project.  Ours will look like this:

Except the ribbon will be tiffany blue and it'll say the guest's name instead of 22'' ribbon LOL

  • Our favors are mini wine glasses the I made wine charms with the table #. I have card stock and will copy and paste the image from our wedding invitations onto a template for like an address label and then type the name and print it out.
  • I made ours on Vistaprint.  They are a bunch of business cards and I added the leaves and bird design from our invites onto it.  I have a calligraphy pen that I bought, and I figure I have plenty of extras (250) to perfect the names!
