I'm getting married this October and my girls are wearing black dresses with silver broaches. I was thinking of doing black and gold linen. Does that seem like fall colors and does it matter that I incorporated silver on both their dress and invitations but no gold anywhere?

I wouldn't think so...do what looks best for you. Maybe incorporate a different color for the head table though? My girls are wearing burgundy and I wanted the linens to be burgundy too, but I didn't to wash out the BMs, so I made the head table champagne instead so they would stand out.

You can do whatever you want! My colours are orange and brown, but there are hints of gold on the favour boxes necause that's the colour of ink I had for my stamp. No one's going to notice and I could care less if they do lol.

I say do whatever makes you happy. Our colors are black and red. Not Fall colors at all but they are my favorites. Also like PP said people will not notice details like that. As brides, we just obsess over the small things. We can't help it

I think it sounds very elegant.  Gold definitely fits into fall, and black goes with everything. It's not like you are doing pastels or something.  I can envision a really nice glow to your evening!
