when we signed our contract with our venue... they said it would be $25 an entree for a tasting, which we were fine with! than when we went to our 6 month meeting they informed us they are no longer doing tastings do to lack of intrest. they ended up wasting a ton of food! and since they ordered fresh food for every wedding and they could only order in bulk and they dont have a restaurant so the food got wasted. at first i was upset i wanted a tasting! but i quickly got over it since i work in a restaurant i understood them not wanting to waste the food and i also was happy to hear they did fresh orders for each wedding!

BUT anyway i just got an email saying they were going to have a tasting in August !!!! i am so excited i guess someone else got more upset than i did and complained about it i just took it in stride and said oh well ... i know there food is good i know several people that went to events there and someone i know had her wedding there! so i have personal refrences! i have never had their food but i trust the people who have!

but now i get a tasting! i am so happy!

Due to a lack of interest, what girl wouldn't want to do a taste test. I know I definitely am. My venue didn't really offer it, but I asked them for it. Luckily we are getting it for free. I hope the tasting goes well, glad things went ur way!

I am glad to hear that you will be able to get your tasting. That is awesome! I had my tasting and it was fantastic. It was a great experience and I am sure yours will be as well.

Congrats! Food tasting is sooo fun. We had a blast when we did ours.

The tasting was excellent. The nice thing was they had an extra plate of each entree we tried (we tried 3 entrees and 3 appetizers) and we decided on a surf-n-turf dinner. They actually set up the plate with what we wanted and took a picture of it. Then they gave us the plate to east as dinner that night :-)
