Will you stick around?

Are you going to stick around on TK after you are married?

I get staying around for a bit, sharing pics with your month board, but do you plan to like, really be around?

I guess this morning's drama just got me wondering...

I'm not sure. I enjoy TK and an a fairly regular poster but I don't feel like I've formed some of the same kind of friendships as the other regs have. I've thought about moving to TN after awhile, but I don't know if I'm ready to handle that amount of crazy.

I plan on sticking around til the end of the month maybe a little into Nov just to see everyones pics!  After that I doubt I'll be back on these boards.

Same here.  I will probably stick around through Nov to see all of you ladies' pics, but after that, I look forward to moving on with my normal life again....non-wedding involved!

I'll stick around long enough to post my pictures and give my reviews.  Well and I want to see all of your pictures and how your weddings went.  I'll probably move on to TN.  I lurk the book club board a lot but don't ever post.  I feel a bit creepy but I've found some great books from that board!

I will stick around for a bit to see everyone's pictures. I may pop in to the DIY/Invites board every once in a while. But no not really. I plan on living my life.

I guess it depends on what the discussions are like. I of couse will stay to see everyones pictures and read all their stories, but if we are still having interesting conversations in months after the wedding I may stick around.

Yes. I probably won't post much here unless there are conversations though. I post regularly on E and enjoy chatting with the ladies (and gent) over there. They have helped me out a lot both with WR and NWR things.

I don't know if I'll stick around here but I may move over a little to the Nest. I use it a little right now with the buying a house board.

However, this board is starting to scare me with all the anger and personal attacks on other people so who knows!

I will stick around for pictures for sure! We've all been helping each other out with wedding planning that I am excited to see everyone else's pictures as well. I agree with a PP that I might stick around if the conversation is interesting, but not nearly as much. Probably just a bop in whenever I'm bored. I might switch over to the nest, we'll see!

Agreed!  I'm also not a fan of the creep stalkers who are not Oct 2012 brides highjacking posts.  What is going on here.

I have to say that I'm very saddened by some of the posts I've seen recently, and especially on this thread. It's so unlike our board. I've never before seen anyone nit-picking on anyone else here. It's so unnecessary. If this is the direction our board is taking, I may bow out much sooner than I had planned. Originally, I would have said until Nov/ Dec to see everyone's pics and post vendor reviews. Now, I'm not so sure. Sad day, Oct 2012 board. Sad day.

It's definitely been a rough day on the boards...my style is just stay out of it. So I've only been posting on other stuff today.

Anyways....since my wedding is at the end of October, I'll be around in November to post a re-cap of the day and of course post pics. After that, we'll see. Maybe I'll float to TN.

This has been a crazy morning on the October forum!  I agree that our board is usually much more civilized than this.  I too, am really saddened by the fact that there is so much negativity around here.  However, I realize that a lot of it is coming from non-Oct 2012 brides.  I think there is a way to say that you disagree with someone's thoughts than berating them for 5 or 6 pages worth of comments, then coming over to attack them more.  She got a lot of responses over here that didn't agree with what her original question was, but it wasn't filled with cursing acronyms and telling her to leave.  I personally go to the E board often to learn a lot, but I've always thought that their responses are often too blunt and hurtful.
I would like to think that after today, things will be back to normal.

Today is a sad day, but it is the reality of the internet world. Tomorrow will be better, a completely different day.

I will be on to post pics after the wedding, and most likely a while after if I see others are still active. I enjoy all the girls on this board. Everyone is very civil.
