Guest "book" question

Hey Ladies. I haven't been on here in forever! Been so busy. Anyways, I really love the idea of doing a guest book puzzle in place of a traditional guest book. Guests would sign a piece of the puzzle. The problem is how do I know how big of a puzzle to buy? How many pieces should I get?

We are inviting about 110 people. Even if everyone came not everyone signs a guest book. If FI and I went to a wedding I would sign for both of us, so assuming everyone is a couple and every couple signs I would need 60 pieces. But I don't expect everyone to come and I don't expect every single couple to sign so I would want less than that.

Heres the puzzle I want. My plan is to paint it fall colors and have people sign it. Then puzzle glue it together and put it in a frame and hang it on the wall. So I want to make sure at least most of the piece of signed.

That is SO cute. I have no idea how you'd figure that until RSVP's come in unless you're not doing those and other than that I have no idea. Plus I don't think you'd have time to get it in if you waited! So I guess I'm NO help!

I think that's a pretty cool idea. I think each pice would need to be at least 1 square inch, maybe 2 to get names on there.

I love that idea of having a puzzle.

I have 2 things, but I loved the second idea(not enough pieces.) The first thing we found was a book with a tree on the front. We also have the jenga game (guest give us wedding advice on the pieces and we read as we play). We are inviting 160, but I was thinking about the book being for addresses or advice from some people who can't write small (aka my mom is one!)
