When are you ordering programs etc.?

My Invites will be going out tomorrow, but my RSVP date isn't until September 22. I need to order programs, favors, etc. before the wedding, but these are all based off how many people are attending. I don't want to wait until the RSVP date because that only gives me 2 weeks.

My invites went out already and my RSVP date is also Sept 22nd....i made my own programs and what i did was since I made 140 invites for 271 people, i made 75 programs figuring that not everyone would attend my full hour catholic church ceremony, 1 per couple would cover about 150 people. Im not sure if etiquette says that you need to have a program for everyone but not everyone attends the ceremony and since its something that will most likely end up in the garbage I wasnt going to spend $ to make sure everyone got one.

I see you invited 191 people, how many do you expect will attend your wedding/ceremony?? base it off of that....then "first come first serve" and the late arrivals dont get one esp since they arent required just a nice gesture.

The company that designed our invitations is working on them now. I've sent back my comments and am currently waiting on the revision. Once they're done I'm going to have them, the menu cards and any other small things printed. The place card design is also in the works but I won't have those printed until I have my final numbers and names

our invites have been out for about a month with an RSVP date of Aug. 20th. We ordered (will be ordering) 1 program per couple this week. We will order about 100 programs for 220 people (200 adults). I'm ordering them this week after our pastor gives us our final ok. Should come in a month before wedding, which we will need to fold them all so that'll be good to have a few weeks to get that done

I am preparing my programs now, but we are printing them on our own etc...
all invites have been sent and recieved... cept for maybe 5-6 of them..

we are only doing maybe 50 invites for the 90 or so people coming... usually I find they end up in the garbage or left behind anyways...

we are making bookmark programs... we are going to do final details on them end of next week...

We're making the programs ourselves.  I'm making 150 programs for an estimated 150-175 guests.  I'm telling my ushers to give out 1 program per couple if they start to run low.
