Seating Chart DISASTER...help please!

So I just started trying to put my seating chart together...I already wish I had a bunch of tables that sat 6 people than tables of 10.
Drama with seating:
Mom-hates step dad's family (mad I invited them), dislikes her mom, hates my real dad, but surprisingly is civil with dad's mom, most of the time she hates my step dad too!
Dad-really wants nothing to do with mom...easy enough
FMIL-hates FFIL's family, wants to sit with her new friends...but that leaves her her SUPER AWK church friends (that we just HAD to invite) with out people...and I hate sitting them with some other normal people.
Step Dad's fam-hates my mom...but they range from a not so classy alcoholic 45-ish year old aunt, a semi normal 40-ish couple, a highly energetic/sometimes offensive (but HILARIOUS in my opinion) 40-ish gay uncle, and my step dad's mom/step dad mid-late 80's and pretty no nonsense.   My grandparents I can easily move...and so could the two uncles...but the aunt I dont know who I could stick her with...and then I don't really want to separate them!
Every one else can be fillers...but I feel like working around all of these people who hate each other is tough.  Especially my mom, I feel like I can't really put her with ANYONE to make her happy...unless its my youngest brother, the only one that doesn't make her mad.

AH! I feel like I need to get approval from my VIPs saying that they will sit at a table with certain people.

Re: Seating Chart DISASTER...help please!

  • I'm a little confused can you write out something like, table 1 has these 4 people and has space and table 2 has these 8 people etc?
  • Okay!

    Table 1: Sweetheart
Table 2: 7 people my HS friends
    Table 3: 9 Mine/FI College friends
Table 4: 5 people from FI HS
    Table 5. 4 FI's Aunt/Uncle/2 adult kids (his mom side) 2 My Aunt/Uncle (dad's side) 2Aunt/Uncle( My step grandpa's side)
    Table 6: 5 Step Dad's family
Table 7: 9 my gma/her friends and siblings
    Table 8: 7 work colleges
Table 9: 6 other work past employees
    Table 10: 8 dad/step mom...friends from HS parents
    Table 11:
-the people that are left: Some of my HS friends (6-8)...FMIL awk friends (3)..My mom/step dad...and kids table (6)...older kids table (4-6)...FI's old boss/his gf...FI's newboss/his wife (competing firms so can't sit together)...random people that I forgot about?  Can't be very many.

Also what are you all doing for kids? I know my siblings would love to sit with my cousins but I also have a 6 year old half sister that would want to sit with the other kids too...should I ask the parents if they want their kids seated next to them or if a kids table would be ok?
  • Ok I think you can go with a kids table that should be fine
Your random HS friends can go to tables 2 +4
Step dad table 6 or table 11 with random people or table 9
    New boss table 8
    old boss table 6
