Lemma - happy 100 days!

Today is DH's birthday!  I got him a Kinect for Xbox. I hope he likes it and wants to keep it.  It was expensive, but I'm excited to try it out myself!  I am giving it to him tonight after work.

Jess - I didn't know what to get. I got the dance game.  When I got home I realized the kinect actually came with a game, so I'm not 100% sure if I'll give the dance game to him or not.  The games are $50!!!  Maybe I'll let him pick out his own game.

paprika- where in ridley? Where you the one asking if people would mind driving far? I got married in Collingdale (my childhood church) even though we live in DE and have for about 6-7 years now. I am not used to hearing Delco towns mentioned....  Good luck at the dentist too!!

Nicole- that is sad! 

alemma- YAY 100 days! I can still remember 100 days for us... seems like yesterday and now in 3 days its been 3 months! INSANE how it flies!!!

My DH and I did our taxes on Tuesday night. We decided to file jointly... We are getting much more than I got last year (2009- my return was $138! Ha).... So I was happy.. Now just deciding if we want a new couch and loveseat OR making that our start to a NEW KITCHEN.. HMMMM

The couch sounds more appealing now due to the fact that my spiteful dog ate the darn arm of the couch on Sunday night!!!!! I thought my DH was going to kill him or explode.. I swear steam was coming out of his ears!! I sewed it and it doesnt look awful just not perfect.. 

Confession *I know it's a Wed thing but still* I watched Brooke and Julian on OTH get married last night and cried like a baby! I never used to cry at weddings but I think since I now have a personal experience to link them too I cried because it made me think of mine!! I know I am a dork!!

Vent- We may have to push back settlement! My fingers are crossed.... please cross all of yours too! I really really want to make settlement tomorrow am! Our mortgage agent will let us know this afternoon.. It's going to be the longest wait ever!!

Thank you ladies!! I'm so excited!! I can't believe I'm in the double digits tomorrow. Time is just flying by.

Happy - I find myself getting more emotional watching weddings since I've been engaged! I'm sure it will get worse when I actually experience my wedding day. Glad I'm not the only one haha.

Nicole - Sorry to hear about the priest that married you. That's so sad :-(

Val - oh I would not want to be in your shoes.  I'm the type if I plan something and it gets moved around I go crazy.  I hope settlement isn't pushed back!

NorthStar - haha gotcha.  When do you give the family dog back?  I second Amer what kinda dog eats through a baby gate?  We might get a dog when we get settled in our house.  I want a puggle (beagle/pug mix).  So hopefully he doesn't eat through gates...

Cara- We have a kinect I got it for FI for Christmas we love it!  We have the adventures game that comes with it...awesome!  I also got him one of the fitness games...we use it all the time!  HAVE FUN and Happy Birthday to your H!

Happy- St. Marks Lutheran. It's the one right next to Leedom Elementary, on Chester Pike. I lived behind there most of my childhood. (that I can remember...)

And, I'm insanely jealous that you DVR-ed the OTH episode. It won't come on demand for another year or so. Boo. I'll have to wait for the summer for a rerun.

Val - Yup, when i moved into my apartment I had it all planned!  Each day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  It will be the same for the next move, only we have to coordinate movers, ending our lease etc.  We are at the mercy of the weather since we are building.  We should have a solid date with 30 days to go.

Happy Birthday, Nicole's dad!  This time of year is busy for birthdays for me.  So many in the span of a few weeks, especially for family.  FIL was Jan 15, my mom and BIL are both Jan 22nd, DH is today and his BIL is saturday!

Cara - Happy Bday Rob!  Also let me know how the Kinect is.. We have one, but we didn't open it yet because we're not sure if we want to keep it or not.  Silly, I know.  I think it'd be good for exercising.

Amer/Northstar - Who's dog can eat through a baby gate?  Mine.  Also solid wood doors, steel dog crates, etc.   However, he doesn't do this stuff anymore - this was a few years ago.  Northstar, hopefully yours grows out of it too.  Mine didn't till he was about 3.

Val - (fingers crossed that settlement is not delayed!)  what's the issue?  You can PM or FB me if you don't want to discuss it on here.

Ooodsie - haha glad you found your keys.  It's a wonder they weren't swept away in the rivers formed by melting snow/ice.

Paprika- I used to substitute teach in RSD... So I was at Leedom frequently. Not sure how much you really want to see OTH but you can go to ITUNES and download the episode for $1.99 or $2.99. I know this because last year for the finale, my dog had hit the power strip off while playing so my DVR box was off.. and it didnt tape the finale. Everyone was raving and I couldnt wait so I paid for it and downloaded. Ha Ha... I sound pathetic.

Northstar- Good luck with the doggie. Sounds like my best friends dog. While a puppy (she is a white german shepherd) she chewed her way out of the CRATE... so they put a bike lock on it.. she chewed off all of the plastic and got to the metal so they had to take it off due to the safety. She ate a door knob!!! Dogs are crazy but she grew out of it... Is the DH's dog a puppy still? My friends dog stopped after it turned 2!

Ooodsie- The underwriter went back to my DH company three different times saying they completed the verification of employment wrong. Yet it's right. My DH works in sales, so he makes a base salary plus commission. He has only worked there a year so the commision goes out of the window.. (has to be there 2 years for it to count).... Well his paycheck just says "Commision" because that how they are paid, yet basically they guarentee him x amount of "commision" a pay.... We had a letter from his company when started this process that states this... they okayed the letter. Now when we were finalizing everything its not! So his company had to write a second letter, basically it says the same exact thing BUT added in these words "Mr. H will make $-----bi weekly NO MATTER WHAT HE SELLS!" Its ridiculous. The three times made the process longer due to the snow... the message would be left to his company's accountant, yet she couldnt get in due to the snow, then she would call the mortgage underwriter and she was out due to the snow the next time.... AKA a horrible game of phone tag at our expense!

Anyways yesterday we finally got everything OKAYed... then it has to be submitted to DE Housing... they normally take 24 hours to respond... Our mortgage agent said rarely do they disagree with the underwriter but who knows! So now it's a waiting game....
