? about vest colors with tuxes

I am using 3 colors for my girls bridal party dresses (regency, jade & horizon- davids bridal) and I am trying to figure out if we should do the vests of the groomsman in the same color as the dress of the girl they will be walking with or pick one color.  Three of my 6 girls are married to 3 of the 6 groomsman and they will be walking with there partner (not doing height order) so couple will be matching.  Peacock is the theme and I am thinking all the different colors will look fun since my girls will all be different, not sure if I am boarding on too much at this point though!

I think if the girls dress doesn't match her guy she would clash unless you went with a neutral like black or white vests. IMO. Like I'm wearing a bright blue dress and I'm standing next to a guy and he's wearing purple we do not look like we should be standing together.

I think it would be fun if the guys matched the girl they're walking down with. Since your theme is peacock, it would not seem out of place.

I agree with the pp's, I think it would look great to have the guys in the same color as each lady they are walking with.

Another suggestion would be to do all black and just have them do a pocket square matching the girl they are walking with if you think it would be too much color with the vest...just my opinion, i know my friend is doing this with her wedding in July...not sure if you are doing pocket squares

but i voted for the first one, having them match their vest to the dress of the girl they are walkiing with

Thanks ladies!  Turns out the guy who worked there had some other ideas as well.  Definitely kept the multi-colored vests but when a different route for the dads and FI.  SO happy tuxes are done!

I was going to say the same thing.  GM in colors, FI in white and Dad in black.
