Rehearsal Dinner..

what is everyone wearing to the rehearsal dinner?  our particular evening includes rehearsal at the church followed by a nice italian restuarant for dinner with bridal party and dates, close family (grandparents, siblings etc) and out of towners.  I am not sure what to wear.. how dressy to get.. and am I expected to wear white? The thought of wearing white at an italian restaurant gives me the shakes...

No, you're not expected to wear white. I think that's just something that's become more popular lately. Wear whatever colour you like.

We're having a very casual pizza and wings dinner in the church common room after the rehearsal. I plan to wear jeans and a nice top.

I have this cute dress my mom gave me that is ivory with purplish floral all over.  Our dinner is at a nice restaurant on the water so I wanted to looked dressed up.  I think you can get as dressy or casual as you want.  Don't believe you are expected to wear white, I would never in an Italian restaurant!

I was going to either get a cute dress or a dressy top and black pants.  Something dressy for our nice Italian restaurant rehearsal dinner.

Our dinner is at a somewhat fancy restaurant but I fell in love with a black lace-y dress so I'm wearing that, even if it may be a little too formal.  I say wear whatever you feel comfortable in!

I'm wearing a cute little blue and grey floral skirt with a slightly sparkly ivory short sleeve sweater and nude pumps. We're going for pizza but FI and I decided to dress up cause we only get one rehearsal!

We're eating at a somewhat upscale diner. It's actually an interesting place and can be casual or formal, just depending on what you want to do. Although my FMIL put business casual on the invites, so we're going more dressy. I found a gray cocktail dress weeks ago that I was planning on wearing but I've decided I really don't want to wear such a blah color. I'm on the hunt for a new dress this week, just have to find something afforable. I was to wear something fun, with some color, but still classy.

We are coming back to our home after the rehearsal for a casual dinner so I'm probably going to wear jeans with a nice blouse, maybe a more casual dress if I can find one.

A pretty casual ivory-ish dress with boots and a jean jacket. It's at a pub nearby and very casual.

I'm wearing a strapless dress that is hot pink flowers with accents of white and black.  I plan to accessorize with black since it's October.

We are going to a kind of informal Mexican restaurant after our rehearsal.  I was just going to wear a dress I already had, but I found a really cute ivory one on Craigslist!

Due to certain events beyond our control, we are actually doing the rehearsal dinner before the rehearsal, so we are going with business casual. I'm wearing black pants and a smoky blue colored silk blouse. I wouldn't even think of wearing white, too much to worry about.

I bought a new dress for my bachelorette party that was last weekend.  I loved wearing it so much that I might wear it to my rehearsal.  For the bach party I wore it with bare legs and heels.  For rehearsal I will probably wear tights and ballet flats.  Our RD is at a nice steakhouse though we told people to dress casual.  FI and I will be a little more spiffy since it is our rehearsal.
