Wedding Programs

After being in a frenzy last Thursday night assembling 70 programs together in one night (cardstock cover, and four pages printed on our own), I began to freak out about my wedding.  I know I have 72 days until the big day, but I already typed, formatted, and printed a "test" program.

I now have this urge to print out all of the programs for the wedding.  BUT, as much as I want to print them, I have this feeling that a song or SOMETHING will change and all of the printed programs will be wasted.  Bahh.

Re: Wedding Programs

  • Hmm, yeah I'm waiting until probably closer to 1 month....but then again we don't have anything planned yet!  ha

  • I would wait until you are sure you have all the details hashed out. Are you meeting with your officiant to go over the details?

  • I would wait a little bit that way if you decide to change something, you can easily fix it.

  • Eh, we had ours printed so they're all set. I based it off of the program example our officiant gave us, saying to go ahead and use it that way, so I figure we should be okay? I also figure if something changes, it won't be the end of the world. I work in the performing arts and the amount of times we have to print programs that end up being changed day-of and just announced from the stage is insane, ha ha.

  • I'm doing a simple trifold that I am printing off myself, so I wasn't going to have them printed until like the week before. I've already designed them for the most part, but I don't want to print them off too early.

  • I'm the same way.  I know as soon as I do something, it will need to be changed in some way.  Ugh.  We're having an informal ceremony and I'm really trying to save money anywhere I can so ceremony programs are not on my list of to-dos.
  • Wait lol We ordered 100 and now its changed so they are garbage :/
  • Mine is an assembly job too. Going to print out the pages with ceremony details as soon as details finalized with Pastor & organist. But waiting to print last page with attendants names on it until about a 1-2 weeks before the wedding because I'm worried that one of the groomsmen is going to flake out on us & we're going to have to replace him.
