BRIDEZILLA!!!!

We are THREE days out. THREE. Last night, on the phone, my mom mentioned that *she* would have liked cupcakes because she "thought it was cool". WELL, I ordered and paid for a dang wedding cake already! She acts like we didn't chose something we liked - yes we did! I didn't WANT cupcakes because I was planning on making a few varieties of my own. My mom ordered so much food I might not bother even makign those...

This morning I call her and remind her she needs to pay for the deposit for the mani/pedi. Since it is a group, the salon wants a deposit. Well, my mother, of course, mentioned she would pay for it. (I was just going to skip it...) which is why I called *her* to pay the deposit. WELL she calls me up and is like "Does everyone expect me to pay?" I AM LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE YOU HAD ME INVITE EVERYONE!!! When we talked last about the mani/pedi, she made it sound like she would cover everyone. WTF! My bridesmaids know they are supposed to pay for themselves but I can't really invite my Aunt and FMIL and FSIL and then expect them to pay for themselves?!!? Seriously? My mom is like "Oh i will cover Aunt So-and-So" and I was like "... So, you really just don't want to pay for my friends (cause she doesn't like them) and FI's family (ditto)" Selfish.Freaking.B*tch

Oh, and I sent a message to FSIL two days ago, and so far she hasn't responded. This is my invitation to the mani/pedi "party" and an update some details. She messaged FI asking for the wedding website address again. -_-' So I know she got the message, she just hasn't responded to me! It irks me that everytime I try to be nice and reach out to her she ALWAYS goes to FI with questions instead of directly coming to me. (There was another time before this that she did it too). I am so tired of FI's family already. And my family.

Seriously debating on if I want to either bother and go to reception. 

I'm updating my wedding timeline to look like this:

9:00am Mimosas

12:00pm Amaretto Sour

12:30pm Wine

1:00pm Beer

2:00pm Champange

2:30 Wine

3:30 Wine

4:00 Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate 

6:30 Martini

7:30 Martini

8:30 Jack and Coke

9:00 Something awesome with Whipped Cream Vodka

Now the day seems manageable.

WHOA! Does your mother know my mom? Lol, my mom had allll these ideas at vendor meetings that she now doesn't want to pay for.
My best advice is to try and relax at this point. Its too late to be having discussions about who's paying for what, like you said. Unless you mentioned on the invite that your mother would be taking care of everything (which I HOPE you didn't do!) everyone should expect to pay for their own nails.
My FI's sisters don't adress me when I e-mail or txt them directly. Worked out great for me, cuz dealing with them is out of my hands, they are HIS problem and I can spend my time doing whatever I want rather than worrying about it

haha That timeline is a winner! Granted, you might not even make it to the first martini with such a packed schedule before!

I didn't say anything about paying, but I get worried that it will turn into an awkward social situation. I don't do well in awkward social situations, especially with my mother. My mom has never met FI's mom before, so I thought it would be a nice way for them to get to know each other.... Sigh. I feel like a great big ball of stress. 

Yea I am a one-martini kind of gal. I could do one martini and two jack and cokes.... 

Oh well, I still haven't heard from FMIL and FSIL if they are coming or not. I get worried if we add people on now (after my mom paid deposit) that they might not be able to accomodate us within our time frame, and then we'll have to change the appointment time to fit everyone in... *stress ball*
