QOTD 6/8

Re: QOTD 6/8

  • I just want to look at them sometimes and say, "Yeah I could tell your cake was cheaper, it tasted like a frosted buttholes."  But I bite my tongue.

That made me laugh so hard and then I read it to FI and he laughed so much!!!

I hate when people ask me if i am getting excited for the big day.  Do they expect me to say 'no'

I also get asked why I chose a venue that was far away from our house.   I choose it becuase the only local place in our budgest to get married at is the Holiday Inn and my cousin got married there last summer and I wasn't impressed with it enough to 'copy' her.

The place we chose is beautiful and much more affordable than any other place we toured.

Also before I decided on a photographer, my coworker kept telling me I should have her daughter (who is in her early 20's) take our pictures because she does 'beautiful work'.  She brought in some of her pictures and they were not my taste.   So I was so thankful when I could tell her we had booked someone.

Yes this totally! Especially when I get it from ppl I'm close with and they should know kids are far down the line.
Or when I get told if i get knocked up before my wedding they will personally kick my butt... Um totally not happening.

[QUOTE]I constantly get asked why I'm having my wedding in PA instead of NJ.  Because I loved this venue isn't a good enough answer, I let them know that I"m sick of all these gawdy NJ weddings.  That usually shuts them up.  No offense to my fellow NJ girls (I don't feel that way about all the catering halls in NJ ;) )

None taken.  I am in COMPLETE agreement with you.  There are a lot of wedding factories in NJ.  We picked something a little more rustic, so hopefully it doesn't fall into that category :)

  • To see my dress, it is a surprise. NO!
I also have had a few people ask if they were invited and if others are invited. You will know when I send the invites out. ;) LOL I just cant believe people seriously have the nerve to ask if they are invited. How rude.

    Phew...that is all. LOL
