    I'm still trucking along, super sore from working out with a PT, he is kicking my butt!
    ive stayed away from the scale as he said i would lose inches first so to try on a pair of jeans in few weeks for progress...he wants to do a body fat test today and I HATE THOSE...yes please pinch my fat and tell me im fat, lol=(
  • Congrats Katie!!

    FI and I have been going to the gym soooo much lately.  I have lost about 2 lbs which I am happy with so far.  We have been doing weight training and then cardio.  I feel like I am going to be hurting later today since we did arms yesterday.

    Keep up the good work everyone.

    I haven't really lost any since summer started. I don't think it counts if I go up 5, go back down. I've been working really hard at the gym and with eating and it doesn't seem to be doing anything for me. I have only lost an inch in a month and half. I'm keep working though.

    I'm going to start doing Insanity on the days I don't go to the gym.

  • I just can't stay consistent with my gym workouts. It seems that whenever I set aside time to go the gym, something comes up and i can't make it. I try to get up early but I am such a lazy slug in the morning and really just want to stay in bed and sleep for an extra hour. However, my eating habits have improved greatly so I guess that's a good start.

  • I feel like I'm doing great just not seeing any progress. I'm in the middle of week 2 and I'm tracking my eating and exercise. Monday I tried to put on a pair of jeans I wear every week and I could barely button them! I don't know if maybe it was because I was still bloated from my monthly but it upset me very much but I haven't stopped..I've gotta get in that dress!!!

  • I really started tracking my food using sparkpeople and am now into week two of the couch to 5k program. I weigh myself on Mondays, and I was down 6 lbs in a week!!

  • I'm having a hard time.  I am doing WW and see a nutritionist bi-weekly.  I am doing C25K and am on week 5.  I wake up everyday at 6:30 to run with FI and then I usually take a class at the gym or go for another walk at night.  I am really diligent with tracking my food and have even cut out sugars from my diet.  I feel really good but for the last 2 weeks, I've gained at WW.  I'm so frustrated and I really don't know what to do.  Everyone keeps saying don't worry about the number, but let's be honest... we're brides... of course the number means something to us!  (To add even more frustration, my whole family joined WW and they are all losing weight and I"m not!  Plus, I'm the only one working out!)  I just can't see that I'd be gaining that much muscle that I'd be gaining weight to counteract my eating incredibly well.

    Any ideas or tips?  I'm so frustrated!!

  • Sedoner- I know how you feel about getting frustrated with not seeing results.  Trying switching up what you are doing.  Maybe add in some weight training or switch up what you are eating. 

    So for my progress:

    I am using the elliptical daily on the gluteal variey for 60 minutes.  I also take a boot camp class on Monday nights.  I know I need to go to the weight room but I am intimidated by it and don't have a buddy to go with.

    i am consistently logging my food but am staying pretty consist with my weight.  I haven't been drinking as much water as I need to so I am going to up that and see if it makes a difference.
