RSVP's are in and the seating chart is done.  The names go to our calligrapher tomorrow and the final count is turned into our venue on Thursday.  It feels like it's right around the corner!!

Yay! So glad I'm not doing a seating chart! I've never even been to a wedding that had one! Our RSVP date is Oct 1st. The only reason were doing that is because WE are cooking and its a buffet dinner so we need to know what to expect...that's enough headache for me! Oh and it IS right around the corner!!!

Sure, I had a spreadsheet where I was tracking all of my RSVPs.  I just took an 11x17 piece of paper and drew circles on it, one for each table.  Then I just added names of guests to each of the circles.  I manually counted the people assigned to each table and their meal choice and checked it against my spreadsheet to make sure I didn't miss anyone and had the right number of entree choices.  I've heard seating charts can be tough, but ours came together pretty easily.  I think we got lucky.

My checks this weekend were buying the last pieces of our centerpieces and scanning/printing photos.  We also picked out all of the prayers/readings for our ceremonies.  Oh, and I made an appointment for my hair/makeup trial.  It feels good to check more things off the list!
