Hi ladies,
I went in for my first fitting a little while ago, and was having alterations made, and am picking it up on Friday. The whole thing, yes, is a bit early than they otherwise recommend, but I've got other weddings keeping me out of town and work commitments the first two weeks in September so it was either too early or too late. I went with too early. The dress fit fine, a little snug in the, er, rear, but loose in others and long so it was getting altered.
Now, though, between my bachelorette and post-bachelorette hangover this weekend and some stress-eating, I'm really, really worried the dress isn't going to fit when I pick it up this weekend.
Now, if it's a HUGE, "hold on, we need to fix this" problem, then obviously I'll deal with that with the seamstress when we get there on Friday (and probably cry about it like an adult, ha), but part of me's wondering if it's just the problem of a little bit of bloat that I can take care of in the next six or so weeks, is it totally irresponsible to pick up and take home a dress that doesn't fit if I'm confident it can by the time I need to wear it for the wedding? OR should I just stop worrying about it not fitting and instead switch to an all-water-and-celery-diet now?

What say you?
