went and got the supplies to make my BM's gifts

im decorating them their own wine glasses,im excited for this project i think they will love them!! also making one for my mother aswell.now just need to think of something for my little sister who will be a junior BM shes 12,any siggestions?

The wine glasses will be fun! I saw some on pinterest the other day that they painted to look like a tux and a wedding gown. They were pretty cute. How are you decorating yours?

I think a twelve year old would probably like something like a simple necklace or a bracelet. It would be cute if you could get a charm that had to do with her being your little sister... I have also read a lot of times on here that you should get people gifts like you were getting it for their birthday, not necessarily wedding related, so maybe something fun that you know she would like.

ETA: I guess if you wanted to stick with the drinking cup theme, I don't see that decorating a wine glass in her kind of style would be completely inappropriate - it would make her feel like she was part of the group, especially if you have her sitting with the rest of the girls. Doesn't mean she'll be toasting with wine!

thanx ladies im gonna do mine with the girls initials and polka dots in purple and orange.and maybe some kind of design that would represent them,like my MOH is my best friend of 10yeas so might add bff to hers.its not that i think a wine glass is inapproriate for her,im just afraid of her breaking it by the end if the night lol..someone suggested charm bracelet,i liked that idea.

Haha, if I were twelve and was given a wine glass, I would probably break it as well, lol. Good thinking. I wasn't sure what your reasoning was behind changing for her gift. Glad you liked the idea about the charm bracelet! I think that would be really sweet and she'd feel special : )

What about some type of tervis cup? That way she gets something like the others but kid friendly.

The wine glasses are such a cute idea!!!!!!!!!!!!! For my flower girls and junior bridesmaids I got them these adorable necklaces with thier initials on them. I got them from the knot store when they were having a rediculous sale and honestly I think I paid $3.99 each for them. And when they came in the mail i expected them to be of $3.99 quality but they are very nice. I also got them matching bracelets that were the same price. You should browse on there it might give you ideas!
