  • My veil!  I bought it last November at a veil trunk show, and have since seen so many others I would have rather gotten.  Fortunately, it's getting altered to what I'd like - hope it turns out!

  • My veil...if anyone needs one...send me a message.  I love it...it just doesn't go with my dress.  Its shoulder length and 2 teir.  has satin trim on the edge and the crystals...I love it...like I said...it just doesnt go...........oh...and I bought a longline bra off e-bay...doesn't fit...I really kicked myself about that.....

  • I guess my veil, I'm not going to wear it but i knew that was a possibility when I bought it, which is why I only spent $25.

I guess I kind of wish we had invited less people.

  • I did a hair and MU trial with someone I shouldn't have.  She turned me into a frizzy haired orange person.

    Also isn't is 8-28 today?

  • I bought fancy paper to put on the back of a display board for our escort cards, but then decided to just put them down on a table instead. Now hopefully we'll use it to wrap up our wedding party presents, but who knows.

    yes it...exactly 2 months until my wedding:D
i bought a thick, printed cardstock to make a paper heart chain but never got around to it.  and the chain looked awful when i started so i never finished.  i also wish we eloped/invited less people!
  • Centerpieces...
I like them,,, but now have other ideas on what we could have done... but we have them already... so well I suppose we should use them lol
  • Hmmmmm nothing really. Though I do agree with trawas01 about the eloping thing. I sometimes think we should've just ran off to Vegas.

  • My invitations.  I love the way they came out, but I spent so much more on them then I thought I would have.  I wish I would have just found a set of printable ones from Hobby Lobby or something and saved the time and the money it took to put them all together.

Oh, and I also wish we would have just eloped.

  • My veil. I bought it from Ebay, and it is very pretty, but it is two-tiered elbow lenghth and I just dont like the way it looks - too poufy. So I'm on the hunt for a longer veil and to sell the one I have!

  • My invitations.  I love them, but the postage is so damn expensive ($1.10 per).  I really wish I had double checked the size limits for a letter.
  • At this point I wish I would have gotten a different dress since, you know, I still don't have it!!  I like my veil, but I don't know if it matches because I don't have my dress, so I hope I don't regret buying it in the little time we have left.

I like how our centerpieces are going to look, but there is a big part of me that wishes I would have just paid the little bit more to get standard floral arrangements.  Then I wouldn't have a bunch of work to do now, and have more room in our spare room.

Last would probably be thinking about our venue a little more.  I LOVE it, but I'm worried about pricing and I think we missed our opportunity to negotiate with them at all, so I think we will be realizing how much they will nickle and dime us.

  • The giant bird cage for cards. I found it at an antique store and it's really beautiful but it's HUGE and is taking up a ton of room in our house and I'm not sure if I'll even be able to sell it after the wedding (and it was expensive!)

  • My shoes!  They've been nothing put problems!  First, the wrong size was ordered and they were too small.  The bridal shop was great about taking them back and ordering a 1/2 size larger.  The larger size comes in and now they're too big!  I had to put all of these Dr. Scholl's things in to make them fit!  They are such a mess!  I spent more than I originally wanted to on them too!

  • I have 0 buyers remorse. I HAD buyers remorse about my shoes when I thought I couldn't wear them cuz my dress was too short but that problem is fixed now so I'm good! I sometimes wish we'd skipped the whole big wedding thing but I know if I did I'd regret that so..here we are!

  • Honestly, the only thing that comes to mind is the first set of chair sashes I bought. Organza. I got them used for super cheap from a sweet lady, but I ended up changing my mind and ordered satin ones a few weeks later! Now I just have to stop procrastinating and put them on the classified boards and ship them to another bride...
  • I love my venue to bits - I just wish maybe we looked a little more for somewhere more affordable that we could have invited more people.

I picked my BP too soon. Wishing lately I just picked my two best friends as my ladies instead of my two sisters plus FI's sister plus my two best friends. Especially since I then left obligated to make my sisters MOH and they have done nothing but stress me out about everything.

  • I bought my favors way too early.  We're having koozies that say "Eat. Drink. Be Married".  When we originally started planning, our colors were plum and burgandy, which are the colors I bought the koozies in.  Halfway through, I changed our colors to plum and charcoal.  We'll still have some burgandy accents, and it is a somewhat Fall theme, so it will be alright...just wish I had waited a couple of months.

  • No purchases, but I should have been more diligent to 'help' FI manage saving for the HM
~~Mendi~~ ...Everyone has their price; mine's chocolate Photobucket
  • I agree with previous person who said favors! i bought them way too early and am not happy with them anymore but don't have the money to get different ones! :(

  • I really don't have much I would do different.  I wish FI and I were getting married in my church, kind of, instead of the place where the reception is, but I also don't wish for the controversy that would have caused with his family.  It is hard enough for them to understand that we are having a Catholic ceremony with a deacon!

Also, I would have cut the guest list by 20-30 people or so.  I am worried we will be tight in our space since we haven't barely gotten any declines!

  • Nothing really. I sometimes wished we eloped too and saved a ton of money, but other then that everything I bought I will be using.

  • I don't think there's anything I've purchased I wish I hadn't. Of course there are quite a few things that I really need to purchase-and I'm a little freaked out about how close we are now!
It doesn't have to be perfect to be everything I want!

  • I wish i would have waited to buy my accessories for hair. I purchased a tiara from DB, if i had known i could find something else less expensive i would have waited. Also when i looked back at the pics i liked the idea of the flower in my hair so i picked up one from claires and now i have to decide what i really want in my hair. Also i want a half updo so i might be changing my accessory again to put a comb into the half up part. I am not wearing a veil so i dont have to worry about that.
