Cake check and RSVPs

So I sent out my invites Monday and in the mail today we got 6 already! I'm so excited!! Now I can't wait to check the mail everyday!

We also had dinner with the FILs tonight and our cake lady. She is a friend of FMIL and we set down details about the cake. We'll have a 3-tier small stacked cake. Bottom tier will be almond, middle banana, and top carrot. All with buttercream filling. Then we'll have 2 sheet cakes: yellow with strawberry and buttercream and chocolate with chocolate filling and buttercream.

The tiered cake will have ribbon around each tier and leaves all over. And she's doing it for $1/person, which is under budget!!

That's great that it was under budget! Kuddos. The cakes sound really good.... can't wait to have mine :-) My cake is three tiers as well, but all are the same flavor. there are 3 layers in each tier (2 choc. fudge, 1 vanilla with strawberry buttercream)

Yeah, it's a big relief. I'm not so concerned about the cake, but I'm glad that it's done.
