I was wondering when you will be reconnecting with your vendors. I have had very little communication with the florist, bakery, DJ, etc. since I booked their services. When are you planning to start confirming plans?
I've already scheduled the final meetings with some of our vendors for the end of September and the last one in the middle of October. These are with the venue (which is also handling the food and alcohol), the DJ, the lighting company, and the DOC. I'll probably contact the baker after the RSVP's are in to give her a final serving amount and confirm the delivery time and all that. I'll probably schedule a meeting with the photographer in the middle of September.
This is so funny because I was thinking about this last night.
I have to finish our music that we want with the DJ and then I am going to send those lists out to him soon and follow up with a phone call or email verifying information and when payment is due.
We are doing DIY classes at our Florist shop that are scheduled for next week, so I am planning on talking to my florist a little more then.
You could always call and check-up on things in August to schedule September meetings if need be.
We just met with the DJ the other day. He wants to meet one more time before the wedding. I am going to schedule a meeting with the coordinator and photographer like a month before. The cake is coming from the venue along with the food, so I don't have to worry about meeting with the bakery or a caterer separately.
I was thinking about this over the last couple of days, so thank you OP for covering me! It seems like the more things are falling in to place the more I am concerned I didn't make arrangements for something else!

I touched base with a few of them when we got a better idea of our venue's timing needs a couple weeks ago, and am trying to keep an eye on everything a little between now and then.
