Hi ladies!
Just wanted to write a quick note for those still waiting for their big days.
We were married in Las Vegas and had perfect weather the whole week. Except wedding day. It POURED! But it stopped raining long enough for our friends and family to make it to the chapel and back without getting soaked and we did 2 hours of photos rain drop free.
Then the lightning, thunder, hail, and flooding arrived but it wasn't a hindrance - just something to talk about.
MIL got stuck in the elevator going to dress for the wedding, the groom and best man were late, MIL, SIL and groom's family were late due to elevator fiasco, I couldn't fit into my dress (too much good cooking from hubby!) and my sister was near tears trying to get me into it and we finally just took the whole bra thingamajig thing off and just tied the lace up corset back and let it go without snapping the snaps or hooking the hooks and eyes. Had problems with the reception, everything ran late, people were tired, you name it and yet... IT WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!
So don't stress over the things that happen. Driving home from Las Vegas yesterday hubby and I laughed over the problems and talked about how we only remember laying eyes on each other the first time in the chapel and the vows. We've watched our video a couple times already.
Relax, and seriously, enjoy the day. It goes by SO fast!!
