Workout Wednesday

How's everyone doing with their workouts and weight loss? I've been doing pretty good so far. Since I only have 2 classes this Module and they are on Tuesday/Thursday.. I've found myself getting back into a good routine of going to the gym on my no school days. So far I've lost 1.5 lbs in a week and a half. I cant wait to get back to the gym tonight. I'm getting to the point where I look forward to going now.

  • Pretty good this week, i havent stepped on the scale as of late bc I avoid it but my workouts have been consistent:
    Monday I did a 20 min HIIT treadmill workout
    Tues: I ran 3 miles and then went to my strength and tone class
    tonight: is interval training

  • Did my obligatory walk to class, then did some walking around on campus taking pictures since it's such a gorgeous day outside. Total walked was probably about 2 miles. It's too nice outside to be cooped up in a gym so I may go for another walk before work. The gym on campus is on spring break hours already (it's finals week) so they close before I get off work, which makes it really hard to get there this week.

    Annoyingly, the scale says I've gained back 2 lbs this week. Not sure why, but I'm hoping it's just water weight. Thinking of trying an apple fast for two days to see if I can clear that up and get things going in the right direction. I'm so close to my next milestone (200 lbs) and I really want to get there!

  • YAY!  Good for you!!!

    I'm considering signing up for a 5K on April 14th.  This is a smaller 5K right down the road from where I live : ) The only problem is, I looked at the finishing times from last year, and based on my 5K personal best time I would probably finish close to the back of the pack : (  I'm slow (5K personal best is around 35 min), but in the bigger 5Ks there's lots of walkers that finish in like an hour so I've never been last.  My worst fear in running my first 5K last year was that I'd come in last and/or they'd be tearing down the race stuff before I finished LOL!  So, I'm going to run a practice 5K when I get out of work tonight and see what my current time is.

  • I haven't ran all week, between working overtime and being exhausted from the stupid time change.  I really need to run tonight since my 5K is Saturday, but I just want to go nap lol. 

    No change in scale.

  • I hate going to the gym by myself...its like hunting season in there or something, it really makes me want to avoid it :(
  • I'm not able go work out tonight. My car is messed up. I am considering going to the Y to sign up for their Zumba classes though. I've been doing lots of OT this week so I haven't had much time to do anything besides my HW and sleep!

  • I began the week at my highest weight since June. I went back to the gym Monday for the first time. I also did some Just Dance yesterday and really worked up a sweat. Tomorrow I'm hitting the gym again.

    I've also really tried to eat healthier again this week. So far so good.

  • I have been walking with FI every night for a week.  Its not much but it is something.  I am tracking my calories on My Fitness Pal and I am down five pounds!!  The most weight I have ever lost in a week.  I know that this will not continue but it got me really excited and motivated to continue.

  • I was really bad last night - we went by DQ and I got ice cream with brownies, snickers, and hot fudge.  While it was AMAZING, I fealt super guilty for eating it.  Other than that, I've been eating pretty good all week and will continue to do so.

    I haven't worked out all week, but FI and I are starting up again tonight!  Need to get on it because summer is right around the corner!!
