Opinions on candy buffet & cake table letters PIP

We have been talking a lot about candy buffets and FI and I set up what we would like ours to look like.  I think it looks a little plain.  I am thinking of putting ribbon and labels around the jars.  Good idea?  Anything else you think I should add.  We do have scoops and tongs.


I bought 'we do' letters for our cake table about a year ago.  I had originally planned to bling it up with red rhinestones but nothing else at the wedding will be blingly so I decided to paint them and then mom suggested I sponge paint them and here is what I came up with:



and here is a close up in case you can't see the spong design. 


 I am not sure if I love it or hate it.  Please share your thoughts

ETA: the sponge paint is orange over brown

I think it looks great!  I like the idea of adding ribbon, but that may be because I'm going to add ribbon to my jars as well  The We Do letters look a little orange in the picture, but I think they still look really nice.

I think you'd be fine with or without the ribbon. You have to remember the jars won't look as plain when they're filled with delicious candy!

I'm not really a fan of the "we do" letters, but they're not at all my style.  Do they fit in with the style of your wedding?  If so, they look great!
