I have been talking with 2 florists I really like. How do you decide which florist to go with?! Did you just go with the cheapest one? I really don't know a whole lot about flowers, I just wanted my flowers to look beautiful and not break the bank.
Here are my options...what do you guys think is the best?
Florist 1:
My bouquet will be mixture of calla lillies, orchids, lisianthus, hydrangea, and anemones. Bridesmaids bouquets and groomsmen boutonnieres will be callas. She is providing flower petals and baskets for the FGs. Ceremony altar will be mixture of glass vases of varying heights with submerged orchids with floating candles placed on 2 boxes provided by the florist. The ceremony pieces will be moved to the head table for the reception. The reception centerpieces will be 24 inch vases with submerged orchids and floating candles.
I will not need to provide anything additional to the florist but to do a mock-up, there is a charge.
Total cost (including delivery and setup)= $1795 (Mothers' corsages and a guest book table arrangement are TBD and aren't included in thisquote so the price will be higher).
Florist 2:
My bouquet will be orchids, lisianthus, hydrangea, and some other purple flowers. Bridesmaids bouquets are blue and purple orchids mixed with some other flowers (i think hydrangea). Boutounniers are orchids I think. Ceremony arrangement will be manzanita trees placed on pillars with flowers on them, then the trees will be moved to the head table for the reception. Reception arrangements will be half submerged orchids in 3 cylinder vases and the other half will be a low arrangements...all will have submerged LED lights inside. Guest book table arrangement and mothers' corsages are included in this quote.
The florist will not charge for a mock-up. I will have to provide flower girl baskets and the candles (but candles I can get for cheap from Michaels I understand)
Total cost = $1600 (including delivery and set up)
Both florists are very sweet and very responsive. Help..how do you choose?!
